The good news is that De'Anthony Thomas was a full participant in practice for the first time this season. The Chiefs receiver / running back / return man has not played this season due to a hamstring injury. Chiefs coach Andy Reid said on Tuesday that DAT was doing well so maybe this is the week.
Meanwhile, Eric Berry did not practice. He remains out with a high ankle sprain. He injured this in the Chiefs Week 2 game in Denver so he has missed two consecutive weeks. Obviously, not practicing on Wednesday isn't a good sign for him playing this week but we'll see if he can progress as the week goes on.
If Donnie Avery can not play this weekend that could mean a little more time for AJ Jenkins, the former 49er, as the Chiefs head to San Francisco.
