Jamaal Charles made his return to the Kansas City Chiefs in a big way. In his first game since injuring his ankle in Week 2, Charles filled up the stat sheet in the KC Chiefs 41-14 Monday Night Football victory over the New England Patriots.
Charles rushed the ball 18 times for 92 yards, including one rushing touchdown. He caught three passes for 16 yards and two of those went for touchdowns. It was the first touchdowns of the season for Charles.
Charles only played 36 of the 67 offensive snaps because he came out of the game to get an IV after apparently cramping.
This is the fourth AFC offensive player of the week award for Charles.
Meanwhile, Husain Abdullah did not win an award but he was nominated.
