If you thought you were feeling bad from the Chiefs playoff loss to the Colts, think of Knile Davis. Not only did the Chiefs lose in heartbreaking fashion, but Davis actually broke his leg in the game. His injury happened with about 10 minutes left in the game.
#Chiefs injury update: Knile Davis (knee sprain & fibula fracture) is making continual progress as his rehab continues.

This is unfortunate for a couple of reasons. Davis was making lots of progress over the past few weeks so you hate to see his momentum slowed by this injury. I don't know how much time it will cost him but it's obviously a multi-week injury. The Chiefs will have OTAs in the spring and summer.
The other reason this sucks is because the knock on Davis coming out of Arkansas were the injuries. This only reinforces that even though he was injury free his rookie season.
The way Davis' rookie season ended, a lot of people are excited about his future, including Andy Reid who talked about him on The Program with Soren Petro this week. Davis flashed a lot at times as a backup to Jamaal Charles and a kick returner. With injuries to running backs, that's a good place to have a solid back-up.
