Brandon Flowers' injury will keep him out for Chiefs-Giants game

The KC Chiefs will be without several key players, including CB Brandon Flowers, as they face the New York Giants at Arrowhead on Sunday.

Jamie Squire

CB Brandon Flowers will NOT play as the KC Chiefs take on the New York Giants this afternoon. He had a knee injury entering last week's game against the Philadelphia Eagles and couldn't finish that game as the injury flared up. He was questionable entering the game.

The Chiefs will really be testing their depth as starters G Jeff Allen and TE Anthony Fasano will also miss the game. Allen has been dealing with a calf injury and the Chiefs promoted G Rishaw Johnson from the practice squad earlier this week. Geoff Schwartz will replace Allen in the starting line-up. Fasano will miss his second consecutive game as he continues to come back from an ankle sprain suffered in Week 1.

The full list of inactives: QB Tyler Bray, G Rishaw Johnson, CB Brandon Flowers, TE Anthony Fasano, TE Travis Kelce, G Jeff Allen, DT Jaye Howard.

S Kendrick Lewis, who had an ankle sprain, is active.

The Giants inactives are below:
