The KC Chiefs are active on the workout circuit. Up this week is free agent defensive tackle Sealver Siliga.

The Kansas City Chiefs are working out free agent defensive tackle Sealver Siliga, according to ESPN's Josina Anderson. Workouts during the season are not unusual for teams. We just don't always hear about them.

Siliga's Twitter account, @S_Siliga, indicates he is already in Missouri.

Siliga, listed at 6'2 and 325 pounds, is a former 2011 undrafted free agent out of Utah, which is the same school Alex Smith attended. Siliga began his career with the San Francisco 49ers in July 2011 only to be cut in August 2011. He later joined the Denver Broncos roster and just a few weeks ago he was traded to the Seattle Seahawks, who then released him on September 17.

His career stats include one tackle in a 2012 Week 13 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Chiefs current defensive line depth chart looks like this:

LDE: Tyson JacksonAllen BaileyMike Catapano
NT: Dontari PoeJaye Howard
RDE: Mike DeVitoAnthony Toribio

It's unclear who among that group would be replaced if Siliga were signed. It's also possible the Chiefs are just keeping tabs on him in case of an injury.
