Did not practice: TE Anthony Fasano (ankle)
This remains the KC Chiefs No. 1 injury concern heading into the Philadelphia Eagles game on Thursday. Here's the situation at tight end:
No. 1 tight end Anthony Fasano has an ankle sprain and we have no idea if he will be able to play or not. He hasn't practiced in either of this week's practices. There has been no indication from Reid what will happen here.
No. 2 tight end Travis Kelce has hardly played this season because of a knee injury. He has been active but he hasn't been playing. He's an unknown.
New (old) tight end Kevin Brock was signed off the street. He was with the Chiefs this offseason. With him being signed on Monday, you gotta think it's because the Chiefs will need him on Thursday. Or at least as an insurance policy. To me this just says the Chiefs are concerned about Fasano and Kelce.
More of my thoughts on the tight ends are here.
Limited participation in practice: CB Brandon Flowers (knee), TE Travis Kelce (knee)
Flowers had inflammation of his knee after the game. It has not been characterized as something that's putting him in danger of playing, but we'll see.
Kelce has the knee bruise, which he first suffered in the third preseason game. He has played one snap in two games. And it was on special teams.
Full participation in practice: T Branden Albert (shoulder), DE Mike Devito (neck), LB James-Michael Johnson (neck), LB Nico Johnson (ankle), LB Dezman Moses (toe)
Good news on all these guys. Albert didn't practice yesterday, so this is a step forward. DeVito had a stinger and after a limited practice yesterday and a full one today should be good to go. Nico Johnson has yet to make his NFL debut after a high ankle sprain last month.
