On the eve of the Kansas City Chiefs preseason opener, I think it's safe to say that we are glad to have football back. Clearly judging by the release of official odds for the Chiefs upcoming game against the Saints, sports bettors are saying the same thing.
For those of you itching to lay down some money on Tyler Bray and company, Oddsshark notes that the Chiefs are three-point underdogs to the Saints in the preseason opener for both teams. That should be a given since the Chiefs were miserable last season. Even thought first and even many second string players won't get much time, the Chiefs are likely going to be underdogs at the start.
The over/under on the game is 36.5 points so if you think Bray is going to air it out or that third team defenses are rather porous, you might want to throw down some money on the over. Then again, if you're betting on preseason games, you likely don't need any more encouragement as it is.
Really though. If you're betting on the preseason, please talk to someone. You need help.
