The KC Chiefs preseason is only three days away and we now know what the playing time will look like for the players on the roster, including the quarterbacks.

Interesting note on QB play for #Chiefs on Friday. Culley said Bray could go into the 4th quarter with Stanzi getting whatever's left

That fits the depth chart, which is 1.) Alex Smith 2.) Chase Daniel 3.) Tyler Bray and 4.) Ricky Stanzi. That break down makes sense to me. I'm sure some of the players will want to play more -- Dunta Robinson told me over the weekend that he wanted to play as much as he could -- but this is a good start.
The Chiefs have offseason workouts under their belt, along with nearly a dozen training camp practices. It's early so a quarter is a good number for the quarterbacks.
Everyone on the #Chiefs roster will play on Fri, said asst head coach David Culley

The first quarter of the preseason will be fun. It'll be nice to see Alex Smith and Co. in action. But Alex Smith and the starters are not the ones who will get the most out of this preseason game. It's players 54-90 that will have a shot to make a real difference. Which UDFA will stand out? Are there any "gamers" on the team? Can Tyler Bray continue to fend off Ricky Stanzi? How will the end of the receivers shake out?
Special teams is another HUGE part of this game as far as roster considerations go. The Chiefs kick and punt return drills are not full-on tackling so that will be extremely important. There can be a couple of roster spots on this team made up of special teamers. And they will get their shot in preseason.
Initial thoughts on the quarterback breakdown in the first game?
