Chiefs Rookie Recap: Braden Wilson from The Mothership

We continue our Chiefs Rookie Recap series, featuring interviews with each of the team's eight 2013 draft choices, in order, addressing a summary of their OTA and minicamp experiences, expectations for this season and more.

Did The Kansas City Chiefs Overpay Dwayne Bowe In Light Of Victor Cruz Deal from Bleacher Report

It was a win-win for both sides at the time; Bowe finally got his big pay day and the Chiefs retained their one and only proven weapon in the passing game. However,New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz received a six-year, $45.9 million contract with $15.6 million guaranteed according to Tom Pelissero of the USA Today, about $10 million less than Bowe in guaranteed money and overall.

2013 Game By Game: Week 11 from DenverBroncos.com

Succop Spending Summer In Lowcountry from ABC Columbia

The former Gamecock and current Kansas City Chiefs kicker and his wife recently moved to Daniel Island. Succop says he spends a lot of his down time playing golf and fishing in the Lowcountry. He also works out at the College of Charleston soccer field. Since the field doesn't have uprights, Succop kicks between an even narrower target, the posts that hold up the field's net.

"My goal is aim small, miss small," Succop said.

Tackling The Journalism Field from The Wausau Daily Herald

While perhaps not a well-known name around most NFL households - a point Lane makes clear with some self-inflicted humorous jabs about his writing background - the aspiring writer delved into the struggles of succeeding on and off the field.

Following in the footsteps of previous guest columnists and NFL players Steve Gleason, Chris Kluwe and Jabari Greer, he offers a thought-provoking look at the needs of players to balance their chosen career - albeit often short-lived - with the future.

Report: Dolphins Still Haven't Extended Formal Offer To Vonta Leach from ProFootballTalk

While Leach's agent, Ralph Vitolo, hasn't ruled out other teams seeking to acquire Leach, the focus clearly seems to be with the Dolphins. It's where Vitolo believes Leach will ultimately end up but it can't happen if the Dolphins decide not to offer him a deal.

The Houston Texans, New York Giants, Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens continue to show interest in Leach as well.

EA To Remove Aaron Hernandez From NCAA Football 14, Madden NFL 25 from Polygon

The star tight end originally existed in NCAA Football 14 as a Florida Gators trading card in the game's Ultimate Team mode, the card being a reward that's unlocked in the Nike Skills Trainer. (See photo above, from Twitter user Richard Lowe.) Since Ultimate Team runs on EA's servers, Tiburon has already replaced Hernandez's card: Anyone who unlocks him will instead receive Alex Smith, who is now a quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs.
