On the first day of the Kansas City Chiefs training camp, WR Dwayne Bowe is not practicing and has been placed on the Non-Football illnesslist. The NFI list is "used for players who are unable to practice as a result of conditions unrelated to football." As @RapSheet mentioned, it's unclear at the moment why Bowe is not practicing.
Joel is at practice this afternoon and delivered the news. Bowe does not have his helmet on and has been standing off to the side of the field.
Bowe, Marcus Dixon, Buddy Jackson and Malcolm Bronson are off to the side. Stretching. Almost looks like yoga

Adam Caplan suggests this is a minor issue:
Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe is on the active/NFI (non-football injury) list. My guess is he hasn't pass their conditioning test. We'll see.
