Chiefs training camp 2013: Veterans will make their arrival in St. Joe

Thursday is veteran reporting day for the Kansas City Chiefs. The rookies, quarterbacks and injured players reported to training camp on Monday; the rest of the team (veterans) will do the same on Thursday afternoon. Read on for all you need to know about veteran reporting day.

John Rieger-USA TODAY Sports
Who: The Chiefs veterans

On Monday the KC Chiefs rookies, quarterbacks and injured players arrived in St. Joe. They've been practicing on their own (exclusively passing drills, apparently) as they await the arrival of the rest of the veterans.

Everyone on the team is expected to be there by this afternoon. Except Eric Fisher, that is. He has yet to sign his rookie deal but the Chiefs expect it to happen this weekend.

What: Veteran arrival day

Remember on Monday when the Chiefs rookies and quarterbacks showed up to camp and the media was staked out at Scanlon Hall on the campus of Missouri Western State University? Basically the same thing today except with a lot more players showing up and probably more media.

When: 12:30 - 2 p.m. (Arrowhead Time)

That's the media access time so that's when you'll find us tweeting updates and pictures about the Chiefs veterans arriving. We'll have full coverage and an open thread.

Where: Missouri Western State University

The site of KC Chiefs 2013 training camp. They'll report to camp, get their dorm rooms and then they're off to do whatever it is NFL players do in St. Joe in their free time.

How to follow: @ArrowheadPride

As I said, we'll have an open thread, too. Also, we will post pictures on Facebook so make sure you're friends with us. Or you like us. Or whatever.

Also important: I just got a new iPhone and using the touch screen typing for the first time. My fat fingers make this a difficult process. I say this in the hopes that you don't mock me for my typos this afternoon.
