Shortly after the 2013 NFL Draft the Kansas City Chiefs signed 13 rookies who went undrafted, including a defensive tackle named Risean Broussard, who came from Hinds Community College.
The Chiefs have now waived Broussard, according to today's NFL personnel notice.
If you were unfamiliar with Broussard, the Chiefs bio on him reads:
Broussard (6-2, 278) played in eight games in one season at Hinds Community College, recording 61 tackles (43 solo), six tackles for a loss, 6.0 sacks (-42.0 yards), an interception (-15.0 yards) and two forced fumbles. He attended LaGrange High School in Lake Charles, La.
These types of rookie free agents could always coming back around as injuries and other personnel moves crop up throughout the offseason and training camp. Or perhaps the Chiefs have signed or plan on signing someone new to replace his roster spot.
The Chiefs have at least three more signings coming (that we know of): Eric Fisher, Travis Kelce and Nico Johnson.
