The video above from 610 Sports includes a few clips from the Chiefs Tuesday practice. There will be another practice on Wednesday and one on Thursday before calling it a weekend.
Interesting talk in the video about the Chiefs defense becoming an attacking unit. In quotes distributed by the Chiefs, Justin Houston said the defense is different this year with "some of the calls, and the way our big guys play up front. They're attacking more instead of reading."
That's also one of those terms that is thrown around this time of year by every single defensive coordinator. Some are proven right when the season rolls around and some are just talkers. The Chiefs have been mostly talkers in recent memory. While Tamba Hali has been a nice piece, the Chiefs as a team haven't been an attacking defense over the last few years. Until I'm shown otherwise, I see two consistent, legitimate pass rushers on the Chiefs defense in Tamba Hali and Justin Houston.
Can the Chiefs defense be attacking this year?
