The NFL each year has the Combine in Indianapolis, which everyone knows about and follows. But there are also smaller combines throughout the country which include players who weren't invited to the Combine in Indy or other players trying to make it in the NFL.

One of those players is Samie Parker. Yes, that Samie Parker.

How long has it been for Samie Parker?

He was the Chiefs 2004 fourth round pick. 2004. That's a long time ago. He started when Dick Vermeil was the coach and Trent Green was the quarterback. He left when Herm Edwards was the coach and Damon Huard was the quarterback.

Samie stayed with the Chiefs until the 2007 season. What has he been doing since then?

He spent some time on the rosters of the Broncos, Panthers, and Seahawks in the 2008 season. In 2009, he spent time with the Raiders and the Las Vegas Locomotives. In 2010 he moved to the Chicago Rush. Then to the Kansas City Command in 2012 and later the Toronto Argonauts. Later in 2012 he re-joined the Las Vegas Locomotives.

So, yeah, it's been a long time.
