The last time we checked in on Rodney Hudson, the Kansas City Chiefs were placing him on injured reserve, ending his 2013 season. That came way back at the end of September 2012. Since then we've heard very little about Hudson and his injury, although I'm assuming he's healthy.
A few folks have asked about Hudson's health entering the 2013 season but I don't know much. Here's what we do know, what then-head coach Romeo Crennel said about Hudson way back on September 26, 2012 when they put him on IR:
"There's a broken bone, but it doesn't require surgery and he's got to be off of it for several weeks and then several weeks on crutches, so it's going to be most of the season. It's going to be most of the season, so that's why he's not going to be able to come back."
That's all I know about the injury. And if that forecast was accurate back then, Hudson should be ready to roll this season. Every player but Branden Albert was at the start of the Chiefs offseason program which means Hudson was in attendance.
So I'm assuming he'll be just fine this year.
