Kansas City Chiefs sign former Green Bay Packers offensive lineman

On Tuesday the Kansas City Chiefs released offensive lineman Rich Ranglin. On Wednesday, they signed offensive lineman Tommie Draheim.

Meet the newest KC Chiefs offensive lineman.

Draheim comes from San Diego State, where he played left tackle for multiple seasons. He's been a center in the pros, so it's not exactly clear where he would line up.

He's been around the block in his short NFL career, originally entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Green Bay Packers, which is the connection to Chiefs GM John Dorsey. He also spent time with the Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots and Jacksonville Jaguars last season.

The Chiefs will need depth along all spots of the offensive line -- center, guard and tackle. Like many players with his experience, he'll have a tough time making the final 53-man roster.
