Tyler Bray, undrafted free agent, agrees with Chiefs, according to reports

Though it was widely reported former Tennesse QB Tyler Bray would be signing an undrafted free agent contract with the Miami Dolphins, ESPN reports he will be signing with the Kansas City Chiefs.

One of the top undrafted free agent quarterbacks available following the 2013 NFL Draft was Tyler Bray so it was no surprise to see reports quickly after the draft that he had agreed to terms with the Miami Dolphins.

However ... those reports were wrong. This according to ESPN's Field Yates, who reports Bray, the former Tennessee QB, is signing with the KC Chiefs.

This is a VERY interesting signing. Many folks thought Bray would be drafted but his name was never called on draft weekend. Ricky Stanzi is the Chiefs third quarterback, and he may have to compete for that spot.

Here's what Rocky Top Talk, SB Nation's Tennesse blog, says about Bray: "We all know Bray's physical tools are equal or superior to any other prospect. We know he can make all the throws. We also know the frustrations: it's more than just "can't win the big one", because with our defense last year I'm not sure Joe Montana could've won the big one. It's mental preparation, leadership questions, taking it as serious as is necessary for most to succeed in the NFL."

I feel as someone who writes about the NFL I am obligated to note that Andy Reid is good with quarterbacks.
