The KC Chiefs beefed up their secondary in free agency by adding Dunta Robinson and Sean Smith. They've done the same with the selection of Georgia's Sanders Commings, a cornerback who some say can play safety as well. Commings was selected in the fifth round, No. 134 overall.
Commings slides into the secondary to provide depth. Robinson is thought of as a possible corner/safety and Commings could be in the same boat depending on how things shake out.
Commings is 6'0 and weighs 216 pounds. He has a legal background, getting arrested and suspended for a domestic violence charge. The Chiefs are apparently comfortable enough with that.
