I'm filling in for NJ Chiefs Fan today on the news front. Hopefully I did alright on a slows news day.

1. Chiefs: OT Luke Joeckel, Texas A&M. Chiefs need to secure an important position.

2. Jacksonville: DE Dion Jordan, Oregon. Jaguars have to improve their pass rush.

3. Oakland: DT Sharrif Floyd, Florida. Raiders rebuild up front.

4. Philadelphia: OT Eric Fisher, Central Michigan. Joeckel would be the pick if Chiefs go with Fisher.

5. Detroit: DE Ezekiel Ansah, BYU. Lions are another team with pass-rush needs.

The Kansas City Chiefs are still studying four players whom they’re considering taking with the first overall pick in Thursday night’s NFL draft. Chiefs General Manager John Dorsey will not say who those four players are, but he did tell reporters on Friday that he and the rest of the Chiefs’ front office will spend the next few days evaluating those four players before making their final decision.
