Andy Reid knows what any good football fan knows: the schedule release is a fun time of year. Yes, we already know the teams but whatever. It's still fun to plan your fall weekends.
The KC Chiefs head coach commented on the Chiefs 2013 schedule as it was released.
"The schedule release is always an exciting time of year," Reid said in a statement from the Chiefs. "In the National Football League, every game is a challenge, but we are going to continue to work hard in the offseason to make sure we are ready to play. I'm really looking forward to getting out there in front of our crowd. Arrowhead Stadium is a tough place to play, and we realize our fans provide us a great home-field advantage."
Reid did not comment on the Chiefs lone primetime game -- his return to Philly in Week 3. That will be a fun one.
Chiefs fans better come to play. The first two home games are against the Cowboys and Giants. That's no joke. Other home highlights includes playing the Broncos at Arrowhead in Week 13 -- two weeks after playing them in Denver -- and the Colts coming to Arrowhead once again in Week 16.
