Dunta Robinson is the newest Chief and it's not an easy move to evaluate. As I argued in this post, if Robinson is the only cornerback signed, I'm not a huge fan of this decision. If he's been added for depth reasons or to contribute in another role, the signing becomes much better. At least that's what I think.
We have the poll below so you can tell us what you think. Here are the bullet points on Robinson:
- 10th overall pick by the Texans in 2004
- Signed a six-year, $54 million deal with Atlanta in 2010
- Cut last week for skill and cap reasons
- Signed a three-year deal in Kansas City
No word on the terms of the deal, like how much money he's making, which obviously makes a big difference. He was reportedly seeking $4-6 million per year. We'll vote on the deal anyways.
Vote in the poll and let us know: Do you approve?
