Chiefs lineman Geoff Schwartz wonders where all the Jewish groupies are

New, comments

It appears new Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Geoff Schwartz is going to be a fun one to cover this season.

KC Chiefs offensive lineman Geoff Schwartz is threatening my territory: he's blogging!!

Well, kinda. Schwartz wrote this piece for SI's Hot Clicks section, and it's terrific. In honor of Passover, the piece it titled, "Ten Random Facts About being A Jewish Athlete."

It includes such fun facts a Geoff and his brother Mitchell (who, by the way, visited the Chiefs before the draft last year) are the first Jewish brothers to play in the NFL since 1923.

Also, this:

There is a lack of Jewish groupies. Where are all the tall Jewish blonde women?

See, this is the difference between Geoff and I. We're both bloggers, but I just don't have the same problems he does.

Heck, I don't even have ONE groupie!
