Another one of the Kansas City Chiefs free agents is gone. Ropati Pitoitua, defensive lineman, is now a Titan.

Count me among those who wouldn't have minded to see Ropati return to the Chiefs. He was a solid role player along the defensive line and saw more playing time than perhaps first expected when Glenn Dorsey went down with an injury. I didn't see any problems with bringing him back for depth along the defensive line, but Tennessee gets him. He spent four years on the Jets defense, and Bob Sutton, the Chiefs new defensive coordinator, is coming from New York. And KC didn't re-sign him. So that makes you think.
The KC Chiefs entered the offseason with nearly two dozen free agents and there's still plenty of news to come on most of those guys. Take a look below at the Chiefs in free agency so far:
Signed by the Chiefs
Dwayne Bowe, Dustin Colquitt, Branden Albert (franchise tag), OL Bryan Mattison, Thomas Gafford, Edgar Jones
Signed elsewhere
Glenn Dorsey (49ers), Steve Maneri (Bears)
Still out there
Brandon Siler, Peyton Hillis, Brady Quinn, Shaun Smith, Russ Hochstein, Abe Elam, Travis Daniels, Martin Rucker, Jake O'Connell, Leon Williams, Kyle McCarthy (RFA).
