Super Bowl commercials 2013: Leon Sandcastle, Eric Winston lead the way for Chiefs fans

There were two Kansas City Chiefs-related Super Bowl commercials from the Ravens-49ers game on Sunday -- earlier in the day came Eric Winston's weatherman commercial from KCTV-5 and during the game came Leon Sandcastle, the Chiefs No. 1 pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, played by Deion Sanders. Which one did you like better?

Welcome to Kansas City, Leon Sandcastle

Loved this one. So perfect. The Chiefs did a good job coordinating with the league because they had a an autographed jersey from Leon Sandcastle ready to tweet out. My Twitter timeline lit up when this ad came out. I love Deion Sanders (my former username, Primetime, kinda says it all) and I love my Chiefs so this was a nice combination.

I wonder if they purposely had that last name sound like Cassel? Hmm.

I rate this one a 9 out of 10. (I'm an easy grader when it comes to the Chiefs.)

Eric Winston's KCTV-5 weatherman commercial

I thought this one was awesome, too. Eric Winston laughed at himself, it was well done -- I didn't think the acting was that bad, despite what some others said -- and I liked that they were creative. The Winston thing happened back in early October -- against the Ravens, as a matter of fact -- so people obviously haven't forgotten about it. Some people were happy he could laugh at himself. Others just wanted it to go away.

I give it an 8 out of 10. What did you think?
