Re-making the Kansas City Chiefs defensive line

BJ Kissel examines the KC Chiefs defensive line situation. Despite having three first round picks in the last five years invested into the defensive line, the Chiefs could need two new starters before next season. BJ looks at the future of Tyson Jackson, Glenn Dorsey and the rest of the defensive line.

BJ knows he's going to make a few people mad when he runs down the list of the Chiefs defensive ends and comes to the conclusion that this is a position of need heading into the 2013 NFL Draft. All that investment into one position group and the Chiefs have one guy (Dontari Poe) they can feel good about, and even Poe is still young.

The Chiefs will almost certainly need to fill one defensive end spot.

Free agent Chris Canty has visited with the Chiefs. I wouldn't be surprised to see them investigate other free agent defensive ends. As the Chiefs figured out over the last five years, that's a tough position to walk into and start right away.

Tell us in the comments whether the Chiefs next defensive end will come via the draft or free agency? Or both?
