Dorsey Says Chiefs Could Draft Joeckel And Re-Sign Albert from KC Star

"Who's to say both of those guys are locked in to playing left tackle? Maybe one plays left guard, center, right guard, right tackle. You put your best five offensive linemen out there.

Chiefs Interview Seven QBs At Combine from KC Star

The Chiefs have had interviews with seven draft-eligible quarterbacks at the NFL Scouting Combine and planned to speak with an eighth Saturday night.

Chiefs general manager John Dorsey and coach Andy Reid were among club officials who met with quarterbacks Geno Smith of West Virginia, Matt Barkley of USC, Tyler Wilson of Arkansas, Mike Glennon of North Carolina State, Ryan Nassib of Syracuse, Zac Dysert of Miami (Ohio) and Tyler Bray of Tennessee.

The Chiefs were scheduled to meet with Florida State's E.J. Manuel later Saturday.

"I see myself as the top pick, not a top-10 pick," Richardson said Saturday at the NFL Combine. "I didn't come into this draft to be second to anyone. If they see what they like ...they're going to get a (heck) of a ballplayer."

The Chiefs have the first pick in the draft and prefer defensive ends in their 3-4 system to be taller than Richardson, who is 6 feet 2. But Richardson said he had a Saturday night meeting scheduled with the Chiefs.

Even if the Chiefs don't draft Richardson, he won't have to wait long in the first round to hear his name called.
