The flurry of Kansas City Chiefs free agency rumors continue. Mike Garafolo of USA Today is chosen to write the "Andy Reid likes Nick Foles" story:
The Chiefs and new coach Andy Reid are interested in acquiring Foles if he becomes available, according to a person informed of the team's thinking. The person, who spoke to USA TODAY Sports on condition of anonymity because the Chiefs haven't discussed their thoughts publicly, said the team is working on plans to add a quarterback and considers Foles a possibility.
HOWEVER! CSN Philly reports that "the Eagles have no plans to trade Foles" ... unless ... wait for it ... "unless they're blown away by an offer."
I looove free agency because you get stuff like this. In the first half of the sentence, Foles is not available. In the second half, he definitely is.

But wait! There's more!
The USA Today report continues: "The person informed of the Chiefs' plans said the Eagles have not told Kansas City that Foles is available."
So, when you really break this down, the report is stating that the Chiefs like Nick Foles. Not that they're talking to the Eagles. Not that they plan to trade for Foles. Just that they're interested.
Which we kinda already knew given Reid's background, right?
