Dear Noah:
Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns with me regarding the Chiefs in 2012. I sincerely appreciate your passion for the team and I share your strong desire to bring another Lombardi Trophy to Kansas City.
As you know, there have been a number of significant changes at One Arrowhead Drive over the last several weeks, which we have discussed in detail on kcchiefs.com and other media channels. However, I am very grateful that you took the time to contact me directly, and I wanted to personally respond to your concerns.
As I said last month, we are blessed to play for some of the best fans in the National Football League, and I was embarrassed by the poor product we gave you throughout the 2012 season. You deserve better from your team, and it ws clear to me that we needed to move in a new direction in 2013 and beyond.
I hope you are as excited as I am to welcome Head Coach Andy Reid and General Manager John Dorsey to Kansas City. Andy and John have been part of successful NFL programs, and I believe they have the drive and the ability to work together to build championship teams. Both Andy and John are already hard at work preparing for next season, and we look forward to the first of many great years under their leadership beginning this April with the 2013 NFL Draft.
Thank you again for taking the time to contact me directly. Your passionate support for your team throughout the year and the home-field advantage you help create on game day will play a vital role in our future success. We sincerely appreciate your dedication to the Chiefs, and I look forward to seeing you at Arrowhead this year.
Best regards,
Clark Hunt
Update: It appears the letter is not exclusive to ChiefsFanInTexas:
I got the exact same letter last week. MT @arrowheadpride Chiefs fan @noahdoj wrote to Clark Hunt. And he wrote back. sbn.to/U6I6ee

@arrowheadpride I wrote a letter to Clark Hunt & got the same letter back. Even though it is a standard response I liked the reply letter.

@arrowheadpride @noahdoj My friend/co-worker wrote a letter this year, and just got a reply as well. Word-for-word verbatim. Still cool.
