FIRST QUARTER
Chiefs 1st drive: Field goal (3-0, Chiefs)
Chiefs offense starts hot. Eight yard carry by Jamaal Charles, 9-yard pass to Sean McGrath, 13-yard run by Jamaal, 22-yard pass to Dwayne Bowe.
Bowe dropped a pass over the middle. He got hit pretty good but it was an obvious drop. That hurt the Chiefs. Alex Smith's next pass was incomplete, which brought up fourth down.
SCORE: Ryan Succop kicked a 33-yard field goal.
Succop's FG looked to hook or curve a little. Probably can't get too far past 40 something yards with snow

48-yard punt return by DMC gives the Chiefs the ball at the 13-yard line.
First play: Swing pass to DMC for eight yards.
Chiefs are short on on a 3rd-and-3 but Andy Reid decides to GO FOR IT on fourth down. A hand-off to Jamaal gives the Chiefs a first down on the goal line. The Chiefs are now 2-of-7 going for it on fourth this year.

The Redskins put together a couple of first downs but RGIII threw a bad pass right in Derrick Johnson's passing lane. DJ picked it off and returned it 42 yards. Chiefs get the ball back.

RGIII fumbled the ball while scrambling and Quintin Demps picked it up for a touchdown. But the refs ruled that RGIII was down before he fumbled.

Despite one 27-yard pass from RGIII, the Redskins punted it away.

Knile Davis had a couple of carries on this drive.
Alex hit D-Bowe for a 10-yard gain on 2nd-and-6. He follows that up with an 11-yard pass to Sean McGrath.

Marcus Cooper broke up a pass and then went down with an injury. It looked like he fell awkwardly on Pierre Garcon's knee. Cooper walked off under his own power.
Quintin Demps forces a fumble on Redskins TE Logan Paulsen and Ron Parker, who replaced Cooper after he was injured, recovered the fumble. Brandon Flowers was hit with a personal foul for his hit on the fumble return.
