Possible snow for Chiefs-Redskins on Sunday

The weather forecast is calling for snow on Sunday, the day of the KC Chiefs vs. Washington Redskins game.

Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

The Washington Post's weather forecast for the Chiefs and Redskins game on Sunday at FedEx Field calls for snow for at least part of the game.

This is a day for the diehard fans and them alone. Precipitation could remain snow through at least the beginning of the game, and potentially longer. If not, we're probably changing over to sleet and freezing rain or the coldest rain you can find. Bundle up and take it easy getting to and from the game!

So we're looking at some snow on Sunday. Probably means there won't be as many Redskins fans in attendance, especially with the team at 3-9 and already eliminated from the playoffs. The Chiefs defense probably gains an advantage because this slows down RGIII's running threat. Passing the ball becomes more difficult which helps the Chiefs defense who has had issues with deep balls over the top. On the other hand, the Chiefs themselves pass the ball a lot on offense so that's a consideration as well.

Let's go to the poll with this one...
