The nuts and bolts on the Kansas City Chiefs playoff game in Indianapolis continue to come in. The game will be played in Indy on Saturday, January 4 at 3:35 p.m. (Arrowhead Time). It can be viewed on NBC.
Now for the odds on the game. According to RJ Bell of pregame.com, the Chiefs are 2.5-point underdogs against the Colts. That's a tight line, especially since the Chiefs are on the road.
But you have to remember that the Chiefs have the best road record in the NFL at 6-2, which was actually better than their record at Arrowhead. Some of that is coincidental but the Chiefs have played well on the road.

The Chiefs are expected to be fairly healthy by the time the game comes around. Justin Houston and Branden Albert are expected to return from injury. Tamba Hali could as well.
One interesting note here is that Andy Reid is one of the best coaches in the NFL after the bye week. So many of the Chiefs starters sat last Sunday in San Diego that it was similar to a bye week. I wonder if that will have an effect on the game.
When the Colts were at Arrowhead in Week 16, the Chiefs were the touchdown favorite. The Colts won that game 23-7. Now the game shifts to Indy and the Colts are the favorites.
Here are the odds for all the Wild Card games:
Colts -2.5 hosting Chiefs
Eagles -2.5 hosting Saints
Bengals -7 hosting Chargers
49ers -2.5 at Packers
