The end is here: Tony Gonzalez's final game

Thanks for the memories, Tony Gonzalez.

The greatest tight end in NFL history is playing his final game today.

Tony Gonzalez, the former Chiefs tight end, has been in the NFL for 17 years. His numbers are amazingly consistent and those same numbers are also comically high compared to others.

1,321 receptions, 15,071 yards, 111 touchdowns.

Today will be his 270th NFL game. He has missed just two games in his career. Two! Forget the numbers, the fact that a guy goes over the middle for 17 years and misses just two games is simply insane. That does not happen anymore.

I know he's not a Chief anymore but it's important we respect the end to one of the greatest careers in all of sports.
