The Kansas City Chiefs are expected to rest at least some of their starters in Sunday's season finale against the San Diego Chargers. Two starters who we know will not be playing are LB Tamba Hali and WR Dwayne Bowe.
Chiefs coach Andy Reid said Dwayne Bowe (concussion) and Tamba Hali (knee) are out for Sunday's game.

Hali has a knee injury while Bowe suffered a concussion last week against the Indianapolis Colts. With both players banged up and not practicing throughout the week, it's not a surprise that they're going to sit.
Frank Zombo has been the Chiefs third pass rusher this season so he will likely step in for Hali. Justin Houston is expected to be healthy enough to play this weekend but with Hali out that means that the Chiefs two best pass rushers won't play together until Wild Card weekend.
As for replacing Bowe...
Chiefs don't have many options to replace Bowe Sunday. Hemingway and Jenkins are the options. You already know I like Hemingway

I said earlier that Andy Reid should play the starters for at least a half. Some people disagreed with me. What we can all agree on is that the goal in Week 17 is to play injury-free football. So if a player is banged up in the least bit, it's best to him.
