Kansas City Chiefs' Jamaal Charles is still gaining a lot of yards

This is your weekly Jamaal Charles Appreciation Thread.

Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

Jamaal Charles is so fun to watch. On Sunday against the Broncos, Charles passed 1,000 rushing yards on the season. His nine touchdowns are a career high. Sometime on Sunday in Washington, he will surpass his career high receiving yards, too.

Here's the latest record set by Jamaal, via Elias:

Jamaal Charles made the 1000th carry of his NFL career in Sunday's loss to Denver, and his total of 5523 yards is the highest by any player in his first 1000 carries in NFL history. Charles broke a record that had been held by Jim Brown since 1961.

Of note, Michael Vick has more rushing yards in less carries but he's a quarterback, not a running back.

So Jamaal Charles is really good. That's the point of this post.

Consider this your weekly Jamaal Charles Appreciation Thread.
