Chiefs vs. Raiders: Kansas City leads the all-time series vs. Oakland

The Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders will meet for the second time this season and the 107th time in regular season history.

In the previous 107 tilts, Kansas City owns a 54-50-2 record. In their only two playoff meetings, the Chiefs have won both including the 1969 AFL Championship game.

The history of these teams goes back to 1960, when both were charter members of the American Football League. Until 1963, the Chiefs were known as the Dallas Texans and the Raiders were a complete doormat. Then Oakland and Al Davis came together, and the two franchises were never the same.

The two teams have a storied rivalry, with some all-time players wearing both uniforms. The most notable is Hall of Fame running back Marcus Allen, who left the Raiders after 10 years to join the Chiefs over his final six seasons. Other notable players to wear both jerseys are Rich Gannon, John Matuszak and Albert Lewis.

In the previous meeting this season, Kansas City won 24-7. The Chiefs sacked Terrelle Pryor nine times and intercepted him three times.
