#Chiefs ruled out DeVito (knee) for Sunday's game. Fisher (shoulder) listed as doubtful.— Adam Teicher (@adamteicher) November 22, 2013
Allen Bailey would be the man to step in for Mike DeVito. This will be an interesting test for the Chiefs. In the past they've had injuries yet found something good out of it because the back-ups played well. Sean McGrath was a surprise at tight end stepping in for Anthony Fasano. Marcus Cooper has his break-out game against the Giants when Brandon Flowers was out. Is Bailey the next back-up to step up?
Meanwhile, Eric Fisher is unlikely to play. Donald Stephenson steps in for him. He came into the game late last weekend to play guard. Fisher has struggled a little as a rookie so if I were Stephenson I would look at this as a big opportunity.
Tyson Jackson (abdomen) and Asamoah (shoulder/calf) listed as questionable— Adam Teicher (@adamteicher) November 22, 2013
It'd be quite the blow to the Chiefs run defense if Jackson and DeVito were both out. Asamoah could be the second starting offensive lineman to miss this game. The Chiefs do have two capable back-ups in Geoff Schwartz and Donald Stephenson.
The 23rd-ranked offensive line possibly missing two starters? Yikes.
Others that appeared on the injury report this week that are available: Mike Catapano, Sanders Commings, Anthony Fasano, Anthony Sherman and Derrick Johnson.
