Before last Sunday's Chiefs-Broncos game we asked everyone the most important part of the Chiefs defense entering the game:
As it turns out, that was wrong. The answer should've been Sean Smith, Brandon Flowers and Marcus Cooper, not Tamba Hali and Justin Houston. The pass rushers are important but they were completely neutralized against Denver.
@ArrowheadPride Just finished doing the research. Manning 40 dropbacks, average 2.35 seconds from snap to throw. Pass rush had no shot.

The Chiefs play the Chargers this weekend. The game is at Arrowhead and let's assume that Philip Rivers is human and not Peyton Manning and will actually hold the ball for more than three seconds occasionally. The Chargers offense is not the Broncos but it's still one of the best offenses the Chiefs D will play this season.
Which group is more important to the Chiefs success?
