Chiefs roster move: Anthony Toribio has been released

The Kansas City Chiefs have released DT Anthony Toribio, according to the NFL's transactions list.

UPDATEFormer Patriots DL Kyle Love has been signed by the Chiefs.

It's not a drop-your-jaw shocker but the Kansas City Chiefs just released defensive tackle Anthony Toribio. He first joined the Chiefs on cut down weekend shortly before the 2010 season.

Toribio is listed as Mike DeVito's back-up at defensive end. That's interesting because it was DeVito who exited Sunday night's game against the Denver Broncos with an injury.

Toribio had one of the Chiefs hurries onPeyton Manning last Sunday night.

He came from the Green Bay Packers back then, the same place where Chiefs GM John Dorsey came from. He also arrived on the team via a waiver claim, the same type of roster move that was very beneficial to the Chiefs on this past cut down weekend.
