Former San Francisco 49ers WR Kyle Williams is now a Kansas City Chief. Williams, who was cut by the 49ers on Tuesday, tweeted this out minutes ago:

And reporter Herbie Teope has confirmed.
Just confirmed with WR Kyle Williams' agent, Wynn Silberman, his client has been claimed off waivers by the #Chiefs.

WR Chad Hall has been released to make room for Williams on the 53-man roster.
Here's what Niners Nation said about his release from San Francisco. His dad, Kenny Williams, was the GM of the White Sox.
Williams, 5'10 and 186 pounds, has 12 catches for 113 yards on the season. He's also a kick and punt returner but was replaced in San Francisco after a fumbling issue.
In fact, fumbles are a big issue with him. He fumbled twice in the 2011 NFC Championship Game against the New York Giants, a large reason the 49ers lost the game. More attention was on that situation because after the game he received Twitter death threats.
It's hard to see how Williams can come in and make a big impact right away.
