Expect Jamaal Charles to play, and more Chiefs injury updates

The Kansas City Chiefs practiced on Wednesday and issued their first injury report of Buffalo Bills week. Read on for the details.

Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports
Out: DE Mike Catapano (ankle)

It's a little unusual to be ruled out already but Catapano has a high ankle sprain. Those can take anywhere from a week to six weeks or more, so this injury is up in the air. That's too bad, too, because the Chiefs haven't had many contributions from their rookie class this year.

Did not practice: RB Jamaal Charles (knee)

AHHHHH!!!!!

Wait, don't freak out. He'll be fine. It's a knee bruise. Andy Reid did not seem overly concerned when talking about it today. See what ESPN's Adam Teicher says below...

...and slow the freak out.

While Charles' overall use is certainly something to consider, we're taking this one week at a time. Just like the Chiefs.

Limited practice: TE Anthony Fasano (knee / ankle), DB Ron Parker (toe)

This is the same issue that has plagued Fasano for most of the season, but he's back on the field. Expect him to play barring any setbacks. Parker's injury is a new one.

Full practice: WR Donnie Avery (shoulder), WR Dwayne Bowe (groin), OT Eric Fisher (knee / back), S Kendrick Lewis (ankle), TE Sean McGrath (knee), LB Dezman Moses (toe), FB Anthony Sherman (knee / calf)

They should all be ready to roll on Sunday against Buffalo.

Meanwhile, in Buffalo, the Bills are having some quarterback problems...
