The Kansas City Chiefs have an open roster spot after cutting TE Kevin Brock and they worked out on Tuesday a number of players who could fill that spot. According to Aaron Wilson, we can add five players to the KC Chiefs workout list.
Chiefs worked out Delone Carter, Brandon Barden, Dominique Jones, Craig Wilkins and Ryan Miller

Carter is a 2011 fourth round pick running back who lasted just two seasons with the Indianapolis Colts. He later drifted over to the Baltimore Ravens but was cut before the 2013 NFL season began. Carter has 133 carries for 499 yards and six receptions for 31 yards in his career. Knile Davis is the current back-up to Jamaal Charles.
Jones, who is 6'3 and 255 pounds, has UFL and IFL experience before spending time with the Colts and Dolphins the last two seasons as a tight end. In 10 career games he has three receptions. Barden, who is 6'5 and weighs 246 pounds, debuted in 2012 as an undrafted free agent tight end with the Tennessee Titans. Barden went to Vanderbilt.
The Chiefs have been working out tight ends on a weekly basis it seems.
Wilkins is a 6'1, 243-pound linebacker out of Old Dominion. He entered the league as an undrafted free agent this year. Gil Brandt has a little more on Wilkins' pro day.
Miller is a 2012 fifth round pick out of Colorado by the Cleveland Browns. He's an offensive guard.
While the Chiefs do have an open roster spot, they could be saving that for S Sanders Commings who comes off the IR-designated to return list this week.
Any of these names jump out at you?
