The KC Chiefs continue to work out players. They may not end up signing any of them, instead choosing to keep a running list of available players in case of an injury to someone else.
The list of players the Chiefs worked out comes via Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post: DT Ryan McBean, G Josh Samuda, C Garth Gerhart, G Jason Foster, DB Kevin Rutland.
McBean, who can be seen in the picture above, is listed at 6'5 and 305 pounds. He was a fourth round pick by the Steelers in 2007 and has spent time with the Broncos and Ravens.
Samuda is an offensive guard who went to Massachusetts. He came out in 2012 as an undrafted free agent with the Dolphins.
Gerhart is a 6'1 and 305-pound center out of Arizona State. He joined the Browns after going undrafted in the 2012 NFL Draft. He has also spent time with the Packers and Browns.
Foster joined the Colts as an undrafted free agent in 2012. He also spent time with the Raiders last year.
Rutland is a defensive back who went to Mizzou. He came out in 2011 and spent time with the Jaguars.
Along the interior of the line, Jeff Allen's calf injury is a concern. He missed last week's game against the Giants and was limited.
