Dwayne Bowe likely to play despite groin pull, per report

The Chiefs wide receiver has been limited in practice late in the week with the injury.

Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe has been limited in practice this week with a groin pull, but fortunately he's expected to play against the Cleveland Brownsaccording to ESPN's Ed Werder. In addition, Werder said he expected Chiefs safety Kendrick Lewis to also play despite missing practice this week.

Interestingly enough, Adam Schefter posted Werder's report and added to it with a bit more certainty.

Bowe's importance to the offense cannot be overstated. Even if Bowe hasn't received the share of targets that Chiefs fans are used to, he's still a force at receiver that stretches a defense and forces teams to respect the passing game. If he's out, expect the Browns defense to focus even more manpower on Jamaal Charles.

Bowe has 25 catches for 295 receiving yards and two touchdowns on the season.
