We already posted the Kansas City Chiefs injury report for Thursday's practice session, and now the Cleveland Browns injury report has also been released. Both teams are hurting a bit on both sides of the ball. For the Browns it meant going without running back Willis McGahee and linebacker Quentin Groves in practice.
Groves suffered an ankle injury during Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions, and the linebacker has been out ever since. Groves is a part-time player with solid pass rushing skills, but his status is unknown at this point. As for McGahee, the status is a bit clearer since the Browns are just keeping him fresh at this point. McGahee has 135 games of NFL experience, so the veteran clearly knows how to get ready for game day.
Defensive lineman Billy Winn (quadricep) and linebacker Brandon Magee (oblique) were also limited in practice for the Browns. Neither player is a starter for the Browns defense.
