As the Kansas City Chiefs prepare to host the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, the team has been relatively healthy compared to previous weeks of the season. In fact, head coach Andy Reid opened his remarks earlier in the week with word that the team had no real injuries to speak of.
One day later and it's clear that safety Kendrick Lewis isn't quite healthy as he sat out Thursday's practice session, according to Herbie Teope. The safety was already limited in practice on Wednesday, so it will be interesting to follow his activity as the weekend approaches. The team could just play it safe and rest him so he can be ready, but he seems the name to watch.
In addition, Dwayne Bowe was added to the practice report as he was limited in practice today with a groin injury, according to Randy Covitz. [h/t to knightwolfbr]
Anthony Fasano continues to nurture injuries to his knee and ankle. He played in the majority of snaps against the Texans on Sunday but he was limited in practice on Wednesday. That trend could continue this week as Fasano tries to get back to 100 percent.
The Browns and Chiefs kick off at 12:00 p.m. local time.
