Tuesday
He talked to the media. A lot. He talked with both radio stations and did a little local TV. Not quite the media tour Andy Reid went on but locally it was similar. He revealed the plans for the Chiefs No. 1 pick -- "pick the best available player".
He was also asked if there's a quarterback who the Chiefs could take No. 1 overall. Here's his answer.
Wednesday

Thursday
We have a free agent signing! Dorsey's first free agent with the Chiefs is a tight end named Steven Baker. OK, not the franchise quarterback we wanted but, still, a free agent!
Friday
Yet another free agent -- defensive lineman Daniel Muir. He has ties to both the Packers (Dorsey) and the Jets (new DC Bob Sutton). He's a journeyman-type player but was a regular starter for Indianapolis for a couple of years.
Saturday
Everyone needs a day off.
Sunday
Word comes out that the Chiefs plan to work out free agent quarterback Rudy Carpenter. Before you freak out -- no, the guy is not going to be the Chiefs starting QB next year. You need quarterbacks of all kind -- first string, second string, third string and even practice squaders.
