The Chiefs visit with Andy Reid has been going on all day long, according to Howard Eskin:
Andy reid, lamonte has met w KC Chiefs for over 9 hours. Owner clark hunt, pres Mark donovan, GM scott pioli and 4 others. @profootballtalk

A few thoughts on this.
1. Nine hours. Seems like a long time, no? Really, though, we have no idea what these meetings are normally like. Nine hours could be standard. It could be especially long. I don't know. I don't want to draw conclusions from that.

2. Chiefs GM Scott Pioli is involved, according to the report. Pioli was said to have been involved in the Dirk Koetter interview in Atlanta as well. I don't know what to make of this but, if we are to believe Clark Hunt, there is a scenario where a new head coach is hired and Pioli stays. If that's the case, it makes sense he's involved in the process.
Also, as Danny Parkins said on 610 Sports today, Pioli being involved doesn't necessarily mean anything. It does not mean he is staying around. It doesn't mean he's going either.
3. Mark Donovan, the Chiefs president, came from Philly. So he probably has some familiarity with Reid.
4. I really hope this is real and we're not all just getting played by his agent.
Update: More confirmations...
Our guys in Philly did see Clark Hunt at the airport a short while ago. He says the interview has lasted 8 hours and is still going.
