Get familiar with Luke Joeckel. As of today he appears to be one of the handful of favorites for the Kansas City Chiefs with the No. 1 pick in the 2013 NFL Draft. Mock drafts have repeatedly sent Joeckel to Kansas City -- along with a quarterback here and there -- and Mel Kiper's latest is no different.

Kiper writes of the Chiefs No. 1 pick:
The kid is a gifted technician at left tackle, and the Chiefs could go with the strategy of drafting their left tackle for the next 10 years here, then taking a shot on the best QB available with the first pick in Round 2. Two needs, two picks. We'll see, but QB value at this draft slot isn't in play right now.
This will be the question. QB now or later.
Part of me likes the idea of drafting a left tackle so high because that's usually a fairly safe position. Compared to other positions, there aren't a lot of offensive tackle busts.
On the other hand, the Chiefs have Branden Albert, obviously. Pay him and open up the No. 1 pick for even more possibilities.
We're going to be talking about this every day from now until the Draft, aren't we?
