John Dorsey hired by the Chiefs approval poll

The leadership change is complete. We heard from Andy Reid last week and then on Monday we heard from John Dorsey's the team new GM. Do you approve of the decision to bring Dorsey in from the Green Bay Packers?

USA TODAY Sports

John Dorsey is in the building. The Chiefs formally introduced their new leader on Monday. By now Dorsey is probably already down to business evaluating the Chiefs roster along with new head coach Andy Reid.

A snippet of what Dorsey said about the Chiefs GM job:

"Last Tuesday, I had a six-hour interview with Clark Hunt, Mark Donovan, Andy Reid and various members of the Kansas City Chiefs organization. During that interview I made a statement to Clark, I said, ‘I consider this franchise one of the crown jewels of the National Football League.' Clark sat for a while, thought about it, and asked me why. I said, ‘Because you have an owner that is willing to win, you have a fan base that is as passionate and loyal as any fans are in all of sports, and a support staff that is willing to roll up their sleeves and do the little things in order for this franchise to succeed and of course, the deep history, the rich history of this organization."

And, on day one, a promise to the fans:

"I would like to make a promise to all the fans out there today that I am going to do everything within my God-given ability to ensure that we have as competitive of a team in the National Football League as anybody in the NFL. And I want to remind them to please be patient. This is not a sprint, it's a marathon."

The pieces are in place. The decision has been made to hire Reid and Dorsey.

Now we have to ask:

Do you approve of the decision to hire John Dorsey as the team's new GM?
