Whew. Mark one concern off the list. The Kansas City Chiefs will remain with the 3-4 defense, according to Adam Teicher of the Kansas City Star, who quotes Reid as saying:
Reid confirmed Chiefs would keep 3-4 defense: "This team here is invested in the 3-4, so let’s continue to build it and get better at it.’’

I listened to Andy Reid talk on 810 WHB earlier today and while he didn't come out and directly say they would remain in the 3-4, he talked as if they would.
More: 3-4, 4-3 and the future of the Chiefs defense
"Bob Sutton was a big pick up from the NY Jets," Reid said on 810. "He's used to running the 3-4 defense. They do a few different things there -- not that Romeo's not one of the best in the business at the 3-4 as is Gary Gibbs, who I'm going to continue to talk to about being on the staff. We'll just see how that goes in the next couple of days. But those are good football coaches.
Oh, speaking of Gary Gibbs -- yeah, he might stay. Emmitt Thomas, too.
Sounds like 2 holdovers from old #Chiefs staff, Gary Gibbs (LB) and Emmitt Thomas (DB) have very good chance of working on Reid's staff

But back to the defense.
This is an interesting line from Reid on the new defensive coordinator:
"Bob brings you that unique style that the Jets did," Reid said on 810 WHB. "They bring everybody from the popcorn vendor on down. It's a crazy bunch, but he sure has a great reputation in the league."
Well now. That's interesting. The popcorn vendor, you say?
